Privacy policy for Horizon Module Research, framed under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act. No analytics, no third-party tracking; inquiry data is used only to respond to the inquiry.

What we collect and why
We collect only the personal data you enter into the inquiry form on the contact page: your name, email address, an optional phone number and your message, together with your consent checkbox choice.
The purpose is to respond to your inquiry about our editorial articles on AI in investment, scenario analysis and portfolio stress testing. The legal basis under the PDPA is the performance of a request you initiate and your explicit consent, given through the checkbox on the form.
Where the data goes
The form posts JSON to /api/inquiry on this same domain. The
request is handled by a server on horizonmodule.digital. Your
inquiry data is not sent to any third party. There is no analytics, no
advertising tag, no pixel and no third-party tracking on this site, and we do
not share inquiry data with processors outside the controller organisation.
Consent preference
When you respond to the cookie-consent banner, your choice is stored in
your own browser under the key hmr_consent_v1 in localStorage.
That preference stays on your device; it is not transmitted anywhere. See the

Retention
Inquiry messages and the email address needed to reply are retained for as long as is necessary to answer and to keep a record of that answer, and then deleted. If you ask us to delete your inquiry earlier, we will do so on request.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or erasure of the personal data you sent us. You may also withdraw the consent you gave on the form at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. To exercise any of these rights, email info@horizonmodule.digital.
No automated decisions
No automated decision-making or profiling is performed on your personal data. An inquiry is read and answered by a person.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated text will be published on this page with the revision reflected in the content above.
